QC Chemist (Afternoon shift)

About the company/role: 

• Major pharmaceutical company who manufacture personal care products
• Based in the Southeast suburbs of Melbourne
• Seeking an experienced QC Chemist to join their afternoon shift
• 3pm - 11pm, Monday - Friday
• Permanent, full-time opportunity

Duties:

• Sampling of raw materials when required
• Routine analysis of raw materials using basic wet chemistry techniques and small instrumentation
• Test and release packaging materials and artwork
• Liaising with Warehouse personnel in regards to raw material deliveries
• Analysis of intermediates and finished products when fully trained

Skills & experience:

• Bachelor of Science majoring in Chemistry, Pharmaceuticals or related discipline
• Demonstrated industry experience within a GMP enviornment
