About the role

Nouryon has two Carboxyl Methyl Cellulose (CMC) manufacturing sites Arnhem, Netherlands, Äänekoski, Finland. CMC is a versatile product with applications in various markets worldwide, ranging from industrial uses (oil drilling) to strictly regulated markets in food, animal feed, and pharmaceuticals. CMC is produced from cellulose, caustic soda, and Monochloroacetic acid (MCA).

The facility in Arnhem is capable of producing a large number of product types. The production process consists of multiple lines that operate semi-continuously.
