Role Description

O’Hanlon Paving is looking for an enthusiastic Quality Control Technician to work seasonally in a full-time capacity at our Acheson, AB plant. The successful candidate must be able to align with the company's core values: Commitment, Attitude and Respect.
Responsibilities:
On site sampling, coring, and testing of asphalt and gravel
Lab testing of asphalt and gravel
Organize testing schedules and ensure the availability of necessary materials for testing 
Maintain and perform detailed records
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in a related field (Civil Engineering Technology) is an asset
Minimum 1-2 years of experience with asphalt testing is preferred
Prior experience with road building industry will be an asset
Must have proven ability to be self-motivated and be able to work with limited supervision
