Quality Engineer (Level 2)

**Description:** This Quality Engineer (QE) will report to the Quality & Mission Success manager for F-35 Wings at the Fort Worth, TX manufacturing facility. The QE will be expected to regularly review manufacturing defects for root cause and corrective action, partner with Production Operations to mitigate scrap, rework and repair generated during standard manufacturing processes, develop inspection methods as needed, and perform various analyses of quality-related data. The QE is expected to spend time on the production floor to establish process familiarity, build relationships with Production personnel, and share quality engineering knowledge with junior QEs.
Applies Quality principles in the areas of: design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation, program performance, reliability, inventory control, and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality for make and/or buy products.
