Summary:
Reporting directly to the Regional Manager of Quality and Food Safety – Bakery Platform – Canada, the Quality Assurance Manager will work closely with the Operations, Sales, Logistics and Engineering/ Maintenance departments by providing leadership to maintain the facilities Food Safety and Quality programs, ensuring our products meet or exceed the quality standards and food safety requirements of the company and our customers.
The QA Manager will lead and develop the QA and Sanitation departments.
Duties and Responsibilities:
·Design, implement, maintain and monitor HAACP / Preventive Control Plans and Food Safety and Quality programs
·Lead all audits - GFSI Certification BRC and customer
·Lead with respect to Foreign Material Prevention
