Int Quantity Surveyor | Mechanical | Cork €60k-€75k (DOE) ++ Industry leading M&E Contractor is seeking an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor for large-scale construction projects in Cork, Ireland. The successful candidate will coordinate closely with the project team, to ensure accurate and efficient cost control, estimation and reporting. Quantity Surveyor Key Responsibilities: * Collaborate closely with the estimation team to review and validate Mechanical cost estimates for each project * Manage cost control and identify potential commercial risks and ensure prompt reporting of same to management * Monitor and track project costs, including variations, change orders, and progress payments both upstream and downstream * Collaborate with the estimation / BIM team to ensure accurate quantity take-offs and bills of quantities for Mechanical systems and installations in each project * Review mechanical drawings and specification revisions to ensure any changes are ide...
