Quantity Surveyor

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan review; work with Planning team and Project Manager in assuring that the developed plans are aligned with the approved budget. Check consistency and provide value engineering recommendations.
• Coordinate with consultants and participate in project meetings.
• Schedule Management; coordinate with the Project Manager to ensure the timely awarding of contract packages.
• Bid and Award; prepare and secure approval of the bidders’ shortlist, coordinate with the Project Manager in developing and obtaining approval of the Terms of Reference, and prepare BOQ formats and other bid documents. Facilitate pre-bid conferences, issue bid bulletins including instructions, clarifications, and additional plans, and respond to bidders’ queries. Evaluate bids, present results to the Bid and Awards Committee, and prepare and secure approval of the award recommendation and Letter of Award.
