R&D Engineer

Job Description
Insight Global is seeking an innovative and technically driven engineer to support KCC’s HVAC innovation efforts by researching, developing, and validating new and emerging technologies. This individual will evaluate novel HVAC concepts, materials, designs, processes, and controls, and help define structured approaches for implementing innovation across the organization. Daily responsibilities include designing and executing tests, performing engineering‑focused technical evaluations, and documenting findings through clear and accurate reports and presentations. The engineer will collaborate closely with New Product Development (NPD) and Product Engineering (PE) teams, develop and deliver HVAC‑related training materials, pursue funding and grant opportunities through industry associations, and engage externally to influence code changes and technology adoption.
