Regional Operations Manager

About The Role

We are looking for a high‑leverage operator to join the LatAm Ops Team, specifically overseeing Matching and Trip Radar—the core engines that connect millions of riders and earners every day. You will sit at the high‑stakes intersection of Data Science, Product Engineering, and Local Operations. You'll be tasked with solving some of the most visible challenges in one of Uber's most critical global regions.

What You’ll Do

• Own the Diagnosis: Conduct deep‑dive analyses into marketplace failures across LatAm, identifying structural gaps in our matching logic.
• Architect and review Experiments: Serve as the bridge to our Tech teams, review, challenge, and recommend experiments for our matching algorithms, ensuring that global product builds solve local LatAm complexities.
