Regional Underwriter Manager - Casualty

KEY OBJECTIVE:

The position reports to the VP Casualty LATAM and is commercially responsible for the development and marketing of liability insurance coverages and products across all LATAM countries. Technically, it is responsible for the planning, direction, and control of all activities related to underwriting, risk assessment, and pricing of policy contracts and technical reserves, always ensuring strict compliance with the standards, guidelines, and underwriting policies established by Chubb. Receives referrals from various countries for business that exceeds the underwriter’s authority and evaluates their approval.

Responsible for identifying and developing new business prospects for LATAM, as well as recognizing new market segments, focusing on the evolving needs of clients or segments currently served.
