Research and Development Specialist

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field
• Licensed Food Technologist (if applicable)
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant R&D experience in the following food industry segments: sauces and syrups, baking and pastry.

Qualifications

• Strong background in product development, formulation, and sensory evaluation
• Familiar with regulatory compliance requirements such as:
• FDA registration and licensing (LTO, CPR, etc.)
• FSCO permits, sanitation certificates, local health permits
• Label review and product documentation
• Knowledgeable in Halal Certification, GMP, HACCP, and basic food safety and microbiological controls
