Rig Geologist - Resource Definition

We are seeking a motivated Rig Geologist to join a Resource Definition team based at a major iron ore operation in the Pilbara. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience logging RC drill chips and developing your career in the mining industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Logging RC drill chips at the rig, ensuring accurate geological records.
• Assisting with site operations and maintaining field equipment.
• Contributing to a safe and efficient drilling environment.

Requirements:

• 0–3 years’ experience in geology or related field.
• Current First Aid certification.
• Competent in operating and maintaining a 4WD in remote locations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team-focused, safety-first environment.
