Rig Mechanic

Mission

Ensure the correct operation of rig’s mechanical equipment by following preventive maintenance system, performing routine inspections, monitoring spare parts and coordinating own crew to carry out activities complying to Quality and HSE procedures and practices

Tasks

Be safety minded during in all works and behaviours, use compulsory protective equipment and ensure the same for subordinates

Carry out own duties according to the Emergency Preparedness Action Plan

Ensure that before any maintenance activity is started, a proper risk evaluation is carried out, precautions are taken and the work permit is signed

Attend safety meetings and conduct special safety meetings with mechanic crew whenever necessary

Be well-informed about all relevant work and safety procedures issued by The Client and the Operator, applying them and promoting their implementation
