SAP Development Manager

Overview

The SAP Development Manager – Sales & Distribution is responsible for leading the Barcelona-based SAP SD development team supporting Werfen’s commercial, customer service, logistics, and order-to-cash business processes.

This role combines people leadership, SAP functional expertise, and technical solution governance. The manager will oversee day-to-day team operations, delivery execution, resource planning, technical direction, and capability development while supporting Werfen’s long-term SAP modernization and Clean Core journey.

The successful candidate must be both functionally strong in SAP SD processes and technically credible in SAP development and architecture. The role requires the ability to guide solution design decisions, challenge unnecessary customizations, and promote scalable, upgrade-friendly SAP solutions aligned with SAP standard capabilities.
