Section Engineer

Murphy is recruiting for a Section Engineer to join our growing Infrastructure team, delivering water infrastructure and non‑infrastructure projects in partnership with Thames Water, as part of the AMP8 framework.

A day in the life of a Murphy Section Engineer

• Checking Inspection Test Plans
• Checking setting out protocols of sub‑contracted site engineers, review and agree a method to carry out consistently.
• Checking Installation on site is correct according to specifications.
• Assisting the Design Team with identifying setting out requirements on projects.
• Review the Design Information prior to works commencing.
• Checking that correct Quality Control is adhered to.
• Resolving technical problems at all levels.
• Ensuring activities are carried out in safe manner in accordance with the Project Safety Plan.
