Role Description

 Location: MTL Advanced. Rotherham
 Hours: Monday - Thursday Rotating days (6am-4pm and nights 8pm-6am)
 Salary: £16.97 
About the Role
You will operate and maintain semi-automated robotic seam welding cells to produce high-quality metal components. 

Your primary focus is ensuring precision, efficiency, and equipment uptime.

Load and position workpieces into fixtures (crane operation) following standard operating procedures.

Execute automated weld cycles and monitor robotic arm movements for errors and faults.

Inspect finished welds for penetration, porosity and adherence to current quality standards.

Perform basic maintenance, including cleaning nozzles/shrouds and replacing wire spools or contact tips & liners.

Troubleshoot minor program deviations or mechanical jams.

Safety mindset required strict adherence to PPE and machine guarding.
