Senior Cloud Architect – Linux , m/f/d, Zürich

For our client Swisscom in Zurich, we are looking for a motivated and open-minded Senior Cloud Architect – Virtualization (KVM/QEMU) .

Responsibilities

• Design and build a cloud platform based on virtualization (KVM/QEMU, SDN)
• Operate and integrate OVN / Open vSwitch for networking, routing, and tenant isolation
• Automate provisioning and operations using IaC and CI/CD
• Establish monitoring, logging, alerting, as well as incident and change processes
• Collaborate with architecture, security, and external partners, and conduct testing (integration, failover)

Qualifications

• IT education or equivalent practical experience
• Strong Linux and system engineering skills
• Solid experience with KVM, QEMU, libvirt, OVN / Open vSwitch
