Senior Electrical Designer

Overview

Our oil and gas producer client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Electrical Designer to support a major capital project. This contract opportunity is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong background in large-scale industrial environments, particularly within oil & gas or heavy industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed electrical design deliverables for complex projects
• Produce and review layouts, schematics, and 3D models using MicroStation and SmartPlant 3D (SP3D)
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including engineering, construction, and project management
• Ensure all designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications
• Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback into final deliverables
• Support project execution from design through construction phases
