Senior Engineering Geologist

To be part of our growth in the region, we are looking for an Senior Engineering Geologist or Senion Geotechnical Engineer to join us in Hamilton. This role will have a focus on geotechnical asset management. Every day will be different with new challenges but overall you will be responsible to:

Responsibilities

• Apply your knowledge and judgment to plan and deliver projects
• Produce plans, reports, proposals and specifications to meet client requirements
• Direct and undertake desk-based assessments of sites or site areas, including studies of aerial photographs, research and review of published data, to guide investigation and design for projects.
• Scope and manage field investigations, including commissioning of drilling crews and organising laboratory testing to expand the understanding of a site or region or as a basis for hazard or risk evaluation.
