Senior Java Software Engineer

Brainhunter is currently seeking the services of a “Senior Java Developer for a contract role with one of our Valued Clients .

Work Style: Hybrid – 2–3 days a week onsite in downtown Toronto

Pay rate: $65 - $70 per hour

Role Title: Senior Java Developer

Contract: 1 year term

We’re looking for hands on Senior Java Developers to join our clientsPayments team and work on high value, mission-critical applications for a major bank.

• Must have skills: Java 21 or higher
• Spring Boot 3.5 or higher (strong understanding of Spring Boot Starters)
• Unit testing – JUnit 5 & Mockito (mandatory)
• REST APIs, Microservices
• Maven & Git
• Total hands-on experience required: 10+ years.

Candidates with the following certifications will be strongly preferred:

• Oracle Certified Professional – Java SE 21
