Role Description

The Opportunity

As a Senior Mechanical Designer you will be a key part of the design team, working with production to conceive new and innovate solutions. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, something about which you can be excited, while taking pride in the knowledge that you were an integral part of the team that innovated the winning concept.

Position Description

  • Create intricate jig and machine design layouts utilizing component data and GDT diagrams.

  • Select appropriate off-the-shelf parts for mechanical assemblies.

  • Generate design models, schematics, and parts lists for equipment, sub-assemblies, or product using SOLIDWORKDS 3D solid modeling software.

  • Review design and system adherence to relevant standards, such as OSHA, CSA, or those specified by the client.

  • Supervise and communicate with external design contractors.
