Senior Methods Engineer

Overview

The Senior Methods Engineer is responsible for implementing immediate resolutions for process-related issues and customer complaints. Take initiatives in process improvement projects that will improve cost, quality, productivity, and efficiency, driving innovative solutions to improve the overall Yield and Defect Per Unit (DPU). Develop new manufacturing processes and line improvements by working with respective cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure enough capacity and utilization for production lines and equipment based on peak production quantity forecast of the year, using CAMA, LADM, and MPH analysis.
• Optimize control by Poka Yoke / Jidoka in all cells, improving process quality.
• Ensure productivity on DLP (Direct Labor Productivity) by saving through Design Time Reduction Projects, KD (co-design) improvement projects, ergonomic assessment, and process design improvement.
