Senior Operator : Control Room

The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the Process Shift Supervisor, the Senior Control Room Operator is responsible for the real‑time monitoring and control of the Processing Plant using the Yokogawa Distributed Control System (DCS). You will be the primary technical lead in the control room, ensuring production targets are met safely and efficiently while maintaining environmental and quality standards. This will include mentoring and training new Control Room Operators to maintain competency across all shifts. This role is offered on an 8/6 7/7 FIFO roster.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and adjust process variables via the Yokogawa DCS to maintain stable plant operation
• Provide detailed feedback to contribute to optimisation of control loops and setpoints to maximise throughput and recovery rates while minimising energy and reagent consumption
