Senior Project Accountant

Overview

PME Inc., a self-performing heavy civil contractor within the EllisDon group of companies, is seeking a Senior Project Accountant. The role leads the Project Accounting team and supports project cost and revenue reporting, cash flow forecasting, and collaboration with Operations and Finance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Project Accounting team and supervise 2 or more direct reports.
• Facilitate accurate and timely reporting of project cost and revenue.
• Support Operations with the timely development of the project CBS.
• Enter and maintain project data (budgets, forecasts, quantities, cost codes, etc.).
• Produce variance reporting (cost accruals, revenue accruals, budget moves, quantity claiming, etc.).
• Understand key contractual information relating to assigned projects.
• Support Operations with the development of accurate and timely cash flow forecasts.
