Senior RAN Transmission Design & Optimisation Engineer

Job Requirements

1. 10+ years of experience in RAN RF design, optimisation, transmission/backhaul engineering, and EME compliance.

2. Strong hands‑on expertise in LTE, 5G, UMTS, GSM, NB‑IoT, P25, Microwave, and IP/MPLS networks.

3. Proven ability in RF optimisation, drive testing, KPI analysis, and interference resolution.

4. Strong experience conducting EME compliance assessments as per Australian regulations.

5. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, reporting, and stakeholder communication skills.

Key Responsibilities*

• Lead RF design, planning, optimisation, and deployment of LTE, 5G, UMTS, GSM, and NB‑IoT networks.

• Perform drive test analysis, coverage studies, KPI monitoring, and root‑cause analysis for RF issues.

• Identify and resolve RF constraints including antenna loading, space limitations, and interference.
