Senior Software Engineer -SCADA

About the Company Be part of a dynamic development team responsible for ENGIE’s business-critical SCADA system operating 24/7 to keep our power perimeter balanced in Belgium, France, Germany, and the Netherlands. We aim to extend the geographical scope and integrate more and more smaller and very flexible assets. About the Role As a developer, your role is to: Develop and maintain our SCADA X (Hitachi Energy MicroSCADA X) that keeps ENGIE’s power perimeter in balance. Work on both front-end and back-end development using SCIL, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript. Apply architectural design principles to build scalable, and robust solutions. Apply software craftsmanship principles (SOLID, DRY, KISS, YAGNI) to build clean, maintainable, and resilient code. Collaborate in an Agile/SAFe® environment with analysts, dispatchers, and technical teams. Contribute to on-call support (after onboarding) to ensure system availability and grid stability.
