Senior Staff Engineer Unit Process Development SMT

Overview

Develops, programs, and maintains automated vision systems for detecting defects in Surface Mount Technology (SMT) production, focusing on PCB quality, optimizing inspection programs in development projects to meet the project targets in terms of timeline, quality, cost competitiveness, and manufacturability.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots equipment (AOI, SPI, reflow) and collaborates with production/quality teams for continuous process improvement, ensuring high‑yield, defect‑free electronics manufacturing. Responsible or supports technical handshakes and knowledge transfer to Operations.
• Generates and updates relevant documents, e.g., Process Specification, PFMEA, DFMEA, Master FMEA, OJTI, T32, PDR.
• Supports prototype and development sample builds.
