Senior Structural Engineer

Overview

The Structural Building team is looking for a motivated and skilled Senior Structural Engineer to support the growth of the local office. This position is based out of our Vancouver office working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team.

Your role

• Actively participate in the design and preparation of plans and specifications (steel, concrete, wood, masonry, etc.).
• Conduct studies, surveys, technical reports and structural inspections.
• Engage in the development of structural systems and lead the structural design from schematic (concept) design through project completion.
• Lead project coordination meetings for both internal team members and external clients and consultants.
• Assist in developing and managing the project scope, budget, staff allocation, and project schedule.
