MECHANICAL SUPERVISOR

Assist the Production Manager in the organization, planning, scheduling, implementation, monitoring and control of shipyard’s resources relative to the mechanical activities undertaken by the production department.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Provides technical direction and guidance for Mechanical Group personnel.
• Prepares as directed departmental reports and schedules and assists in maintaining job status and departmental records.
• Supervises marine mechanics and crew boat engineers and accomplishes the repair and overhaul of main propulsion machinery and various auxiliary machinery equipment of boats/vessels or Port and Harbor Services; i.e. diesel engines, pumps, compressors, generator.
• Oversees supervision of Mechanical Supervisor in maintaining high standards of work in carrying out maintenance, mechanical and repair work on plant and equipment, inside commissioned vessels under repair and ...
