Role Description

We’re seeking experienced Face Shovel Operators to join our Mine Production team at Sino Iron. This role is offered on a 2/1 roster (days & nights), FIFO from Perth to Cape Preston.

If you want to operate some of the world’s largest hydraulic face shovels, this is the role for you.


You’ll be operating:

  • CAT Hydraulic Face Shovels (t)

  • Terex RH Hydraulic Face Shovels (t)

  • Other large excavators (t+)

    • About you


    To be successful, you’ll have:

  • Proven experience operating large hydraulic face shovels (t+) and excavators (t+)

  • Current Australian driver’s licence (Preferably Manual)

  • Restricted Quarry Manager and/ or First Aid certificate (highly desirable)

  • Extensive knowledge of surface mining principles

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
