Role Description

  Site Buyer – Electrical Focus 
  Calgary, AB 
 The Role:
 Reporting to the Director of Strategic Procurement, the Buyer is responsible for the purchasing for the construction sites.
  Responsibilities: 
 Receive purchase requisitions from Superintendents and the Regional Logistic Coordinator
 Purchase site materials and equipment
 Carry out purchase orders
 Obtain approval of purchase orders
 Search for innovative products and new suppliers for the respective provinces
 Follow up on out-of-stock products, delivery note reconciliations with purchase orders and invoice approval
 Request bids from suppliers
 Organize occasional transportation of materials
 Plan product groupings for annual agreements
 Follow established ISO procedures
