MBT Site Driver

Salary: £33,637 per annum

Shift: Monday to Friday 06:00‑16:00 and 18:00‑04:00 alternate days and nights – 10 hour shift requirements for which 2 hours per day are paid at time plus half.

Responsibilities

As part of our driving team, you will be responsible for the day‑to‑day change‑over of containers to maintain optimal productivity at our MBT facility, ensuring that recycling and diversion targets are met. You will ensure all skips, trailers, bins and equipment are stored safely and efficiently, with ease of access. Reporting all safety or environmental issues to management, and where appropriate, to internal support services staff is essential.

Qualifications

• HGV class 1 licence (desirable); HGV class 2 also considered and ideally trained to use Roll‑on Roll‑off (RORO) vehicles as well as forklift trucks (telehandler machines).
