Role Description
Responsibilities
- Responsible to ensure that slings making is done as per plan and in accordance to the required specifications and quality requirement.
- Responsible to oversee the day to day operations and ensure no delay to operations and any issues are fully reviewed and managed.
- Ensure that necessary trainings of team members are conducted to maximize their potential.
- Responsible to keep management updated with all matters related to slings manufacturing.
- Shall propose methods resources requirements to enhance slings making process.
- After completion of sling making he shall be responsible for making the waybills and arranging for transporting them to the barge or vessel.
- Arrange for proper storage of all slings and preserved as required.
- Responsible to receive the slings after completion of work offshore and perform the condition check of the wire rope and maintain records of same.
