SMT Manufacturing Engineer

Position Summary

Manufacturing Engineer SMT responsible for all NPI (New Product Introduction) and Operation (High Volume Production) in Level 2 process engineering.

What You Will Do

• Subject Matter Expert (SME) in SMT equipment with process problem solving skills, develop and qualify new equipment, tools, and processes, and establish new Control Plan, FMEA, and Operating Instruction for new products and processes.
• Continuously work with cross‑functional teams to improve integral yield for assembly processes.
• Work with vendors to prepare jigs, fixtures, and stencils prior to NPI and conduct Manufacturing Process Validation (MPV) during operation product runs.
• Hands‑on setup of equipment recipes (SMT and other equipment/tools) and optimize machine and process parameters to meet customer and internal requirements.
