Software Engineering Supervisor

What You Will Do

•Lead, mentor, and develop a team responsible for supporting Python based desktop and manufacturing software used across Molex plants.

•Oversee and prioritize troubleshooting for production test stations, automation software, data acquisition, and validation workflows, ensuring rapid response and minimizing downtime.

•Ensure the team effectively addresses software bugs, user issues, and plant floor disruptions while coordinating escalations with SSG engineering.

•Perform software configuration updates, minor code enhancements, and routine maintenance in Python‑based tools.

•Extend existing tools and build new features for plant users—prioritizing usability, performance, and maintainability—while following SSG development practices including code reviews and verification/validation.

•Support deployment, testing, and verification of new software features or releases on the plant floor.
