Speech Language Pathologist - Toronto Rehab - Brain Program

Job Summary

As an integral member of Allied Health, the Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) provides assessment and treatment for adult patients with communication and swallowing disorders. The successful candidate will work in a progressive multi‑professional team, participate in rounds, meetings and quality initiatives, and assist with coverage across other clinical service areas as necessary. The SLP provides swallowing and communication intervention to patients across Toronto Rehab and will perform all other duties as required.

Duties

• Provide evidence‑based assessment, management and counselling of patients with voice, fluency, language, cognitive‑communicative, swallowing and motor speech disorders.
• Provide treatment and education services to patients, with a focus on planning for return to work or return to school.
