Sr Mechanical Engineer R&D

Position Summary

Mechanical Engineer (R&D) is responsible for the design, development, testing and validation of new products, components and mechanical systems. This role focuses on innovation, technical analysis and engineering problem solving to support new product development and continuous improvement initiatives. Works with cross functional teams and business requirements to give reliable and manufacturable mechanical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems from concept through validation and release.
• Conduct engineering analysis, simulations and calculations to support design decisions and ensure product performance and reliability.
• Develop and execute test plans, including prototype, testing, verification, and validation activities.
• Create and maintaining detailed engineering documentation such as drawings, specifications, BOM´s and technical reports.
