Sr R&D Engineer – OLT Software (GPON/XGPON)

Job Description

As a Senior Technical Specialist, you will play a key role in the development of OLT software systems for fiber-based access networks. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and optimize networking features that support high-performance broadband deployments.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and development of OLT software platforms with focus on scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Work on fiber access technologies, particularly GPON/XGPON systems.
• Develop Layer 2 networking features such as forwarding, multicast, VLANs, and QoS.
• Collaborate with product management and system teams to implement features based on customer requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in telecom software and access networks.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and system-level integration activities.
