Amazon Ads is building the systems that determine where billions of ad impressions land geographically every day, and we need a Software Development Engineer to lead that work. You'll own the architecture that scores location signals in real time, turns those scores into bid-time features, and connects advertiser targeting to the physical world.

The Geo Targeting team sits at the intersection of ad tech, large-scale data infrastructure, and applied ML. Our systems process billions of bid requests daily, fusing multiple location signal sources to determine where an impression is coming from and how confident we are in that answer. The challenge is that location signals are noisy, often conflicting, and vary in reliability by country, device type, and signal source.
