Role Description

Global Factory IT (GFIT) builds and runs the mission‑critical applications that enable Seagate’s drive manufacturing operations worldwide. Our team delivers factory application development and integration services that support end‑to‑end drive build—from shop‑floor execution to enterprise planning—by modernizing and scaling Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and integrating them with ERP and other enterprise platforms. You will be part of a global, cross‑site engineering team partnering closely with factory operations, process/industrial engineering, and corporate IT to deliver reliable, secure, and high‑throughput solutions.
About the role - you will:
Design, develop, and support MES backend core services that power high‑volume factory execution (order release, routing, WIP tracking, genealogy/traceability, transaction processing, and system interfaces).
