Role Description

Position Overview

The School of Continuing Studies (SCS) is seeking six (6) Learning Facilitators to guide and animate student activities and outings on and off campus during our three-week Exploring the World of STEM summer program in July 2026.

Learning Facilitators play a crucial role in creating a welcoming, engaging, organized, and supportive environment for students throughout the program.

Remuneration and Schedule

– Compensation: $18 per hour (up to60hours total). Entrance fees for activities (such as museums) will be covered.

– Dates: July 13–August12026 (3 weeks).

– Times: Monday–Thursday: 1:30pm–5:30pm; Friday: 10:30am–3:30pm (may start earlier; TBD). One full day for the STEM Olympics (date TBD). One out‑of‑town excursion (all day – details TBA; optional). Pre‑session meetings and activity preparation (TBA).
