Role Description
The Steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in all kitchen areas, utensils, tableware, and cooking equipment. The role supports the smooth operation of the kitchen and F&B outlets by ensuring a clean, safe, and organized environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, utensils, pots, and pans.
Ensure the cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, and workstations.
Collect and remove trash and recycling materials from designated areas.
Operate dishwashing machines and ensure they function properly.
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and chemicals; report shortages.
Assist kitchen and service staff with setup and breakdown of buffets or banquets.
Follow hotel safety and sanitation policies, including proper chemical handling.
