Summer Day Camp Leader

Westside Recreation Centre is a world-class facility based on a lifestyle and wellness concept. Since 2000, we have been providing families with high quality and accessible recreation facilities, programs and services. Come have fun with us this summer! In this exciting, hands‑on leadership role, Summer Day Camp Leaders supervise, plan, and instruct a variety of day camps for children ages 3-15 years. This is a seasonal/temporary position with full-time hours available.

Responsibilities

• To supervise, plan, and instruct summer day camps for children ages 3-15Y. Activities may include sports, physical literacy, outdoor activities, group games, performing arts, crafts, free swim time, and more
• To provide a safe, fun and quality day camp experience
• Actively and enthusiastically participate in all aspects of day camps, including in-pool time
• To provide leadership to campers of all ages and abilities
