Job Description

Material Planning

• Review MRP report and material shortages report to ensure adequate material supply
• Carry out detailed material planning and re‑scheduling for high value and long lead time items
• Ensure material or component specification changes are planned appropriately, to avoid scrapping of obsolete material
• Review and manage slow moving inventory to minimize inventory exposure owing to excess and obsolescence
• Maintain appropriate inventory safety stock and reorder levels where necessary to avoid material stock‑out situations
• Maintain item data and planning parameters in the system to ensure MRP reports are generated accurately

Supplier Management

• Ensure full compliance to the respective standards on supplier management
• Involve in supplier audits
