System Integration Specialist (Ottawa)

Overview

The role is hybrid remote, 3 days onsite per week.

Location: Ottawa or Calgary AB.

Senior Systems Integrator – Cloud & Integration Modernization (Contract / Full‑time Professional Services).

Hourly rate: $100-120/h.

Position Summary: The client is seeking a Senior Systems Integrator to act as a core technical contributor in a major enterprise modernization initiative. In this role, you will bridge the gap between secure legacy banking systems and cutting‑edge cloud‑native architectures.

You will lead hands‑on Azure cloud migrations, modernize legacy MuleSoft integration flows into Spring Boot microservices, and support our RedHat OpenShift and enterprise messaging platforms (IBMMQ / RedHatAMQ). The role is highly technical, requiring deep knowledge of cloud engineering, application development, and hybrid‑network security in a regulated banking environment.
