Systems Engineering Project Manager

**Description**

Leidos is currently seeking an experienced individual for a role supporting a dynamic customer acquisition program office. The successful candidate will be responsible for technical planning; system hardware, software, and network design; development and integration; verification and validation; and fielding. The candidate will also continuously evaluate technical alternatives, including risk, supportability, and system-level analyses.

Duties of this position include, but are not limited to:

+ Provide technical advice and input to the customer’s Chief Engineer to help establish the strategic foundation for critical national capabilities and future initiatives
+ Continually assess the customer’s business practices and recommend new solutions, processes, standards, or operational plans to improve mission effectiveness
+ Serve as the Chief Engineer’s technical lead on large, complex projects
