Systems Engineering, Senior Specialist

Role Overview The Systems Engineering, Senior Specialist role reports to the Leader, RTR Operations and oversees both physical and virtual components of the organization’s IT landscape, including hardware, servers, networks, and software environments. The position involves hands‑on work across compute, networking, storage, backup and database platforms with a focus on patching plans, maintenance windows and implementation, coordinating with internal and third‑party vendors to ensure seamless integration and alignment with enterprise strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Architecture, Platform Engineering, and Dev‑Sec‑Ops teams to develop and execute a consistent, secure, and robust infrastructure and platform supporting all product lines and services.

Manage operating systems and system software for software currency and stability in platforms (e.g. RHEL, Windows).
