TEACHING ASSISTANT VACANCY (from September 2026)

Post: Teaching Partner 

Hours: Approximately 30 hours per week, term time only (38 weeks per year)

Grade: NJC Grade 5 points 11-14 (salary based on a full time equivalent of £29,070 - £30,515)

Contract: Initially a fixed-term contract until July 2027 but likely to be extended.

Winchcombe School (part of the Balcarras Trust) is looking for an empathetic and supportive Teaching Partner (Teaching Assistant) to join our friendly SEND department in September 2026.

Reporting to the SENDCO, the successful candidate will ideally have a qualification in Supporting Teaching & Learning or previous experience of working in a secondary school.
