Primary responsibilities:
Maintain and ensure all equipment is functional/operational
Provide training, guidance, and supervision to laboratory staff on analytical techniques, quality assurance procedures, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Develop, optimize, and validate analytical methods and procedures as and when required.
Conduct inter-departmental quality audits.
Conduct an assessment of the lab staff's competency
Support and maintain the Laboratory Quality System.
Provide quality assurance to clients by constantly reviewing their quality needs and implementing new strategies as necessary.
Specific responsibilities:
Prepare and calibrate standards and reagents.
Calibrate and maintain the working condition of equipment and apparatus.
Meet the laboratory calibration schedule.
