Technical Product Owner

Technical Product Owner at Swapcard.

Responsibilities

• Lead a squad of engineers and own the product area end to end, from roadmap strategy to shipped features.
• Talk to clients, end‑users, internal sales and success teams, and use usage data to translate learning into a clear, prioritized backlog.
• Write user stories and acceptance criteria that engineers can build from, and make hard decisions on what to build next.
• Balance new capabilities, technical debt, and bug fixes based on real customer impact.
• Be deeply involved in technical aspects, discussing architecture trade‑offs with developers and working with designers to ensure feasibility and user value.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of product ownership (or a similar product role) in a software development environment, having shipped features, managed trade‑offs, and worked closely with engineering teams.
